COMMITTED PLAYERS

Earlier this year, the AEHL and AFHL leagues introduced changes to the player selection process, and AAA and AA programs in Albert were now permitted to formally commit to players in all divisions of AAA and AA hockey in the spring.

Like most other programs, we held Spring Camps to identify players our coaches intended to select for their 2025/26 rosters.

Our coaches have committed to 64 players across the program. Here is the breakdown of commitments by division and position:

• U13 AAA (11) – 7 Forwards, 3 Defence, 1 Goalie

• U13 AA Female (8) – 4 Forwards, 3 Defence, 1 Goalie

• U15 AAA (14) – 8 Forwards, 4 Defence, 2 Goalies

• U15 AA Female (3) – 2 Forwards, 1 Defence

• U18 AAA (8) – 4 Forwards, 3 Defence, 1 Goalie

• U18 AAA Female (20) – 12 Forwards, 6 Defence, 2 Goalies

  
  

But the work is just beginning. Starting this week, tryouts officially begin, and we will welcome over 700 players to the ice - each with the opportunity to earn a spot on a roster in our program. There are currently 201 open positions across 14 teams.
