Head Coach U17 AAA

The St. Albert Raiders are excited to share that Dallas Jackson has been named Head Coach of the U17 AAA Flyers. 

A former U18 AAA Raiders player, Dallas brings a strong connection to our program and a unique understanding of the player development pathway.

Following his time in St. Albert, Dallas went on to play 174 games in the WHL before advancing to the professional level, where he appeared in 155 ECHL games and 127 AHL games, ultimately concluding his playing career with a season in Europe in 2015–16.

In more recent years, Dallas has returned to the game as a coach, spending the past two seasons within the St. Albert Raiders program as Head Coach of the U15 AA Saints and Assistant Coach with the U15 AAA Sabres. In these roles, he has demonstrated a clear commitment to player advancement and strong alignment with our program standards and values.

Dallas’s combined playing and coaching experience uniquely positions him to provide players with a well-rounded perspective on the skills, habits, and mindset required to succeed in the game long term.

He is Development 1 Certified and is currently enrolled in the Hockey Canada High Performance 1 (HP1) program, reflecting his commitment to continued growth as a coach. In addition, he is a PGA Golf Professional, further highlighting his passion for athlete development and performance across multiple sports.

Dallas is fully aligned with our long-term objective of preparing players for success at the U18 AAA and Junior level hockey. He has built strong relationships within our coaching group and will work closely with our U15, U16 and U18 AAA staff to ensure a cohesive and consistent development experience across the program.

His coaching philosophy emphasizes diligence, details, accountability, and maximizing the performance of each individual in service to the team as a whole. Stressing the importance of understanding the "why" behind the action, while cultivating a positive environment that encourages growth as a hockey player and person.

We are excited to have Dallas step into this role and look forward to the leadership he will bring to the U17 AAA program.
